CTR Calculator
What Is Click-Through Rate (CTR)?
Click-through rate (CTR) shows how many people clicked on an ad or a link compared to how many times it was seen.
Marketers use CTR to see how well an ad is doing.
- High CTR means the ad is getting lots of clicks.
- Low CTR means the ad might need changes.
CTR is useful for checking the success of:
- Online ads
- Search results
- Email campaigns
- Social media posts
- Website buttons and links
While CTR is important, it’s good to look at it along with other numbers like how many clicks turn into sales.
CTR Formula
To find CTR, use this formula: CTR = (Total Clicks / Total Impressions) x 100
For example, if 10,000 people see an ad and 200 click on it: CTR = (200 / 10,000) x 100 = 2%
